The Maple View Mennonite Church consists of people from all different kinds of backgrounds. We exist to glorify God. We believe in the inspiration of Scripture and hold it high as our doctrine for faith and practice. One of the verses which has been our long-standing theme is from Ephesians 5:23 “…Christ is the head of the church, his body of which He is Savior.” We believe that we as a church are to be in submission to Jesus Christ, who has been ordained by God to be Vision-Maker and Chief Shepherd over the church.
Our prayer for the church is that they would grow up in Christ and become mature in their faith. We pray that we as a church would be “…perfectly united in mind and thought.” (1 Corinthians 1:10) We also pray that we would come to know the fullness of God’s love for us and the healing power of the cross. As we focus on Christ, we will be the church God wants us to be.
It is our desire to honor and obey God. Our goal is to develop a community of worship by meeting real needs, sharing Christ’s love, connecting people to the body, and teaching them to love and obey God.
